How Radiant Heating Works

Floor Heating vs Forced Air

Unlike other types of heating systems, floor heating retains the warmth inside of your home, hangar, or warehouse space.  By heating the floor, you are heating the entire home and everything within it from the ground up.  Forced air systems blow in hot air.  Since hot air rises, these systems heat the highest point of any room first. Radiant heat stays down low where your body is and dissipates as it moves upward. The picture below explains it best.

Radiant floors are the most comfortable and evenly heated systems available on the market today.  That means it is not 110 degrees by the heat register and 70 degrees at the thermostat.  The room is 70 degrees everywhere which provides the most comfortable heating system your money can buy.

You can individually adjust rooms and floors to fit your own personal comfort level.  Cooler bedrooms, warmer bathrooms are a good example of the versatility you'll receive with a superior floor heating installation by Custom Floor Heating.

You can heat your domestic hot water, baseboards, towel warmers, or even melt the snow from your driveway.  Our complete floor heating package systems will make your home or business more comfortable and cost efficient.
